Weapons and technology of the new era

In the 22 years since the Fall of Ring technology has advanced at an alarming rate. House Greyforge has release many of its blueprints to help with the reconstruction efforts. Many of these were simply the technology for the Battlewagons and the gravity engine. House Fourfold Bounty has used the engine to make airships that utilize sails to travel faster than the usual Tradewagon. This has led to the acceration of trade and ideas throughout the land and an unprecedented growth of wealth. However some schematics of an ancient weapon design came to light, the Concussion Gun. This weapon operates with cylinders containing a small amount of power with a low flashpoint that propels the metal shell down the tube and towards the target. these weapons come primarily in two kinds a longrifle and a pistol. Both are extremely expensive and hard to make but powerful enough to punch through the armor of any foe. The longrifle is less expensive than than the pistol at a mere 2000 gold. It can fire long ranges with the help of a set of lenses but is difficult to use when in close. The pistol (or shortstock) however does come with benefits, it can be easily hidden and with a skilled user it can fire it off and critically wound a foe at close range catching them flatfooted, but its price point of 5000 gold sets it out of the reach of most people in the Houses. There are rumors that House Battleborn is mass producing these weapons for their new and unskilled warriors, but most of these rumors are seen as unrealistic, due to the skill that is required to make them.
